Fevo AI watches you squat through your phone's camera and turns the video into a stick figure of 33 joint positions per frame. The form feedback runs on your phone, and your sessions are saved on your phone as those numbers, never as video, unless you turn on "Keep my videos on this phone" in Settings, in which case videos stay on your phone only, are never uploaded, and are deleted after the period you choose. Nothing leaves your phone unless you turn on sharing, choose to contribute a clip, or ask the coach a question. There are no accounts, no ads, and we never sell data.
If you ask the coach a question in the app, that question and a summary of your sets (counts and measurements, never joint positions or video) are sent to Anthropic, PBC to produce the answer, after you have agreed to that on a disclosure screen. FevoAI keeps no copy of the question or the answer on its servers.
Your assessed sets (as joint positions and the measurements derived from them), your history, your onboarding answers, and your settings are stored on your device. If you turn on "Keep my videos on this phone" in Settings, each set's own video is stored on your device too, on your phone only. Deleting the app deletes all of this. "Delete my data" in Settings deletes it too, and also deletes everything Fevo AI's servers hold for your installation.
Sharing is off until you turn it on in Settings. While it is on, the app sends Fevo AI:
We use this to find and fix mistakes in Fevo AI's form analysis and rep counting. Turning sharing off stops further sending; "Delete my data" removes what was already sent.
If you choose to, you can send Fevo AI a short video (no audio) of yourself — or of another adult who agrees on-screen — performing a squat, bench press, or deadlift, so we can improve Fevo AI's form analysis. Faces are blurred on your device before upload. We collect the video, the movement data derived from it, a contribution identifier, the typed name and time of the on-screen agreement, and, for someone else you record, a deletion code we give them. We use contributed clips only to train and evaluate Fevo AI's form-analysis models. They are viewed by Fevo AI's review team and processed by Anthropic, PBC, which produces a preliminary rating for our reviewers under a data processing agreement, deletes clips within 30 days, and does not use them to train its models. Clips are stored encrypted in the United States for up to 3 years, then deleted; you or the person recorded can delete a clip sooner from Settings → My contributions, with the deletion code, or by emailing privacy@fevoai.app, and we complete deletion within 30 days (backups within 90). Model improvements already made from a clip are not reversed. We never use contributed clips for advertising or marketing or to identify anyone, we do not sell them, and contributing is never required for any feature. No one else receives data from Fevo AI. We do not use advertising or analytics services, and the app makes no network connections other than the ones described here.
Fevo AI is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use sharing or contributions, and anyone you record must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.
Data in transit is encrypted (TLS). Contributed clips and shared feedback are stored encrypted at rest in the United States. Access is limited to Fevo AI's review team. On your phone, pending uploads are protected by iOS file protection and are deleted once the server confirms receipt.
If we change this policy in a way that enables a new use of data you already shared, we will ask for your consent again in the app before using it that way. Other changes are posted here with a new date.
